Angela Fay Johnson passed away at the age of 55 on March 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful member of Movella Assembly of God church and served as Treasurer for many years. She enjoyed cooking for loved ones and her recipes will be passed down for generations to come. Her outgoing, loving personality will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Fannie Grace Tanner Wilson and a sister, Linda Kay Wilson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of more than 33 years, Mitchell Johnson; children, Jamie (Jason) Carter and Ben Johnson; grandchild Riley Hope Johnson; siblings, James “Del” Wilson, Jr., Jennifer (Jay) Magee, Jackie (Mike) Davis and Christopher Wilson; Patricia (Elroy) James and family; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Wake for Fay Johnson will be Monday, March 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Movella Assembly of God. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Alan Hinton and Bro. Larry Turner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Tanners Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers are her nephews and cousins; Wesley Miles, Matthew Tanner, Jacob Tanner, Shane Hamblin, Tony Jones and Wyatt Davis.
