Bruce E. (Sr.) Dyer

Mr. Bruce Dyer, Sr., age 69, of Lucedale passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was born in Norword, Massachusetts to the late Mr. Raymond Warren and Mrs. Mary Ellen Dyer. After some traveling, Mr. Dyer settled with his wife, Mae Helen (Davis) and raised three sons. He worked most of his life as a driller in the oil fields. He enjoyed fishing, fresh and salt water. He could also find entertainment in old television shows such as MASH, Gunsmoke, Raw Hide and many others. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and will be greatly missed.       

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mae Helen Dyer; parents, Raymond and Mary Dyer; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Adams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Bruce (Ann) Dyer, Jr., Kirk (Nancy) Dyer and Brad (Tabathan) Dyer; grandchildren, Andrew (Tiffany) Dyer, Kristina (Phillip) Bergerson, AnneLeigh Havard, Kamber Dyer, Harmony Dyer; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Jean Reed, Raymond (Juanita) Dyer, Ralph (Mary Kay) Dyer, Cheryl Letourneau, Kenneth (Lois) Dyer; companion, Jessie Shows; many other friends and relatives.    

The Graveside service for Mr. Bruce Dyer will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 beginning at 9:30 AM at Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Bruce McKenzie officiating. Pallbearers include Bruce Dyer, Jr., Kirk Dyer, Brad Dyer, Andrew Dyer, Phillip Bergerson and Christopher Smith.
