Danny Wayne Langford, Sr.

Danny Langford, age 67, passed away June 19, 2019. He was born in Columbus, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. AW Langford. He was a 1970 graduate of Osborne High School in Marietta, Georgia. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was a talented wood-worker and made beautiful furniture. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His bigger-than-life personality will be greatly missed.             

He is preceded in death by his father, AW Langford; sister, Brenda Key; brothers, Barry Langford and Randy Langford.   

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Leona Ann Langford; children, Brenda Porter (Ron) Rideout and First Sgt Danny Langford, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittney Porter, Lt. Ben Porter, Destine Langford, Brent Porter and Loren Langford; great granddaughter, Freya Sibley; mother, Martha Langford; siblings, Michael Langford, Tammie Moore, Carol Jolly and Lisa Bunch; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.      

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, June 22, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Langford.
