Doyce Wilkinson Obituary

Mr. Doyce Wilkinson, age 80, of Lucedale passed away at his home in the Howell Community on Monday, February 12, 2018 with his wife and loving family by his side. He was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi to the late Mr. Dalton D. and Mrs. Josie Hardy Wilkinson. He graduated from Vimville High School in 1956 in Meridian, Mississippi. He worked most of his life as a brick mason for Masco Construction in Semmes, Alabama. He was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years.     

 Mr. Wilkinson is preceded in death by his parents, Dalton and Josie Wilkinson; sisters, Mary Graham and Sue Jones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Glenda Wilkinson; daughter, Ginger Collier; son, Dalton Wade (Dena) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Stephen Lee Collier and Christian Wilkinson Collier; bother, Demar Wilkinson; sisters, Faye Hollingsworth and JoAnn Reese; numerous other relatives and friends.  

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service for Mr. Wilkinson on Saturday, March 03, 2018 at Midway Baptist church beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Branden Rogers and Bro. Phil Snodgrass officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Midway Baptist Church.
