Edna Earle (Tims) Roberts

Ms. Edna Earle Baker Roberts, age 84, of Agricola passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was born in Quitman to the late Mr. William and Mrs. Vera Tims. She opened Baker’s Sporting Goods store in Moss Point with her first Husband, Lawrence Baker. She continued to operate the store after his passing and worked until she was unable to. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 60 years. She was an active member of Agricola Baptist Church and diligent in her studies. She was a hard-working individual who will be greatly missed.     

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Roberts; daughter, Suzanne Baker; brother, Earnest Tims; sister, Janie Pulley; step-daughter, Glenda (Richard) Cushman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Timothy (Pam) Baker, Dwight (Tammy) Baker, William (Mande) Roberts; step-children, Evelyn (Bill) Massey, Pat (Garner) Roberts, Ruby Lynn (Larry) Wilson, Jerry Baker; sister, Helen Griffin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Ruth’s Sunday School class, other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Ms. Edna Roberts will be on Sunday, June 03, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Agricola Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Dr. Tommy Mitchell and Dr. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Agricola Cemetery.
