Evans Ray Robertson

Evans Ray Robertson, age 83, passed away on March 23, 2019. Born in Richton, Mississippi to the late Mr. William Robertson and Iva Hattie Palmer Robertson, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and farmed most of his life. He was a member of Agricola Baptist and heavily involved in the Men’s Outreach program. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.             

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Iva Hattie Robertson; brother, Billy Robertson.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Edith Robertson; children, Debbie Johnson, Danny (Michelle) Robertson, William (Jackie) Robertson; grandchildren, Cassidy Powell, Hunter Robertson, Alex Coarsey, Garrett Robertson, Parker Robertson and Cayley Robertson; great-grandchildren, Gavin Robertson, Halyn Robertson, Knox Powell, River Robertson and Nora Powell; sister, Elsie Wright; numerous other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ron Burch and Bro. Tommy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope cemetery. Pallbearers include Hunter Robertson, Garrett Robertson, Parker Robertson, Luke Englund, Trent Bond and Hunter Johnson.
