Mr. Max McDonald, age 70, passed away August 1, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon McDonald, he was a 1967 graduate of East Central High School. He worked as a Boilermaker with Chicago Bridge and Iron for over 40 years. He was a member of Bexley Baptist Church and the R. P. Bowen Lodge #430. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. His great sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Harold and Ruby Elma Bonner McDonald; brothers, Vernon Ray McDonald, John Paul McDonald and Donald Wayne McDonald.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 40 years, Patricia McDonald; children, Max Brady “Brad” McDonald, Shannon McDonald, Amy (Billy) McDonald Davis and David Harold McDonald; grandchildren, Andy McDonald, Devin Rainey, Jake McDonald, Jerry McDonald, Wesley McDonald, Brandon McDonald, Adreanne Davis and Davi McDonald; siblings, Louise McDaniel, Delores (Marshall) Welford, Ronnie McDonald; special friend Beth Zoeller; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Max McDonald will be Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Bexley Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick McDaniel, Doug McDaniel, Mike McDaniel, Mike Long, Dewayne West, and Carl Cox.
