Shawna Nekea Stringer

Shawna Stringer, age 34, of Lucedale passed away November 29, 2018 with her family by her side. She attended George County High school and New Antioch Full Gospel church. Aside from being a Cosmetologist, she enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting and digging up arrowheads. Shawna lived her life as the motto goes, “…in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”  

She is preceded in death by her step-father, Graylon Davis; maternal grandparents, Harrold and Christine Stringer; paternal grandfather, Sonny Harrell; uncles, Kenny Wayne and Devaughn Stringer

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dylan Giddens of Mobile; mother, Brenda Davis of Lucedale; father, James Harrell of Lucedale; twin sister, Jonna Stringer of Lucedale; sisters, Alana Guillory of Pitkin, Louisiana, Tracy Byrd, Amber Smathers and Darla Harrell; brother, Jason Davis; and paternal grandmother, Opal J. Harrell; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Shawna Stringer will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 at New Antioch Church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Heath Havard officiating. Burial will follow in New Antioch cemetery.
