Shirley Weeks

Shirley Ann Weeks, age 72, passed away November 16, 2019 with her loving family by side. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She was a member of Crossroads United Pentecostal church and attended faithfully until her health began to decline. She was a wonderful homemaker and supported her grandchildren’s many activities. She will be greatly missed.   

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Lucille and John Benjamin Wilburn; sisters, Joyce Bates and Hazel Erkhart; brother, Walter Lee Wilburn.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 37 years, Eric Franklin Weeks; sons Willis Shandel McManus and Eric Daniel Weeks; daughters, Melissa Ann Kendrick and Raven Nicole Cobb; sisters, Janie (Billy C.) Smith, Mary (Brian) Shoemake, Millie (Charles) Goff and Teresa (Ronnie) Holland; grandchildren, Raigan Kendrick, Brittany Weeks, Slaton Hancock, Brandon Shepheard, Ranson Kendrick, Breanna Cobb, Cherie Buckhalter, Brittney Cochran and Jade Cochran; great grandchild, Anna Rose Shepheard; numerous other relatives and friends.        

The Visitation for Shirley Weeks will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Moments Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jonathan Smith, Phil Williams, Brandon Shepheard, Shane Cooley, Slaton Hancock, Ranson Kendrick and Johnny Kendrick.
