William L. Eubanks, Jr., “Billy”, age 61, passed away July 15, 2019. He had many occupations. He started early in life as a farmer then moved into the construction industry and later became a correctional officer, truck driver and mill operator. He was an accomplished musician on the guitar and fiddle and enjoyed playing for small crowds. He valued his family and friends the most.
He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Ethan Eubanks; mother, Maudie Aline McLeod Eubanks.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, William Wesley (Derrith) Eubanks and Aaron Eubanks; grandchildren, Brice, Ashlyn, Brileigh and Gracen Eubanks; father, William L. Eubanks, Sr.; brother, Steven F. (Julie) Eubanks; sisters, Vicki Mizell and Allison Eubanks; best friend, Dana Eubanks; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for William L. Eubanks, Jr., “Billy”, will be Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 beginning at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Milton Robinson and Bro. Jim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Randy McLeod, Terry Joe Burgess, Tyler Eubanks, Bryan Mallett, Allen McLeod and Dillan Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Hollis Welford, Phillip Welford, and Guy West.
