Annell Walley, age 90, passed away April 14, 2021. She loved the time she spent living at the Turner Duvall retirement complex. She was the church treasurer and a faithful member at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She also genuinely enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading books, and solving puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Austin “Bud” E. Walley; Parents, Gaines Elmo and Roxie McLendon; Brother, Dale McLendon and Grandson, Michael Austin Walley.
Those left to cherish her memory include; son, Michael “Bud” A. (Joan) Walley; daughters, Linda K. Walley, Ann (Clay) Murray, Jo (Harold) Dickens, Sue (Slim) Hartley; sisters, Christine Nelson, Peggy (Donald) Crocker, Wanda Graves; brothers, Charles Frank (Voncile) McLendon, Alton (Linda) McLendon; 21 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The Graveside service for Annell Walley will be Friday, April 16,2021 at 3:00pm at Sweetwater cemetery, with Bro. Greg Hillman officiating.
