Bertha Kate Seger

Mrs. Bertha K. Seger, age 66, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church in Richton, Mississippi.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being a Mother to Blayken Howell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Bernice Jones; Daughter, Kelly (Andy) Howell; sister, Patricia (Gary) Malone; William (Pam) Jones; Grandson Blayken Andrew Howell who was Mrs. Bertha’s “Sunshine Boy”; and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Mrs. Bertha Seger will be Monday, April 19, 2021 beginning at 10:00am at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at the church at 12 noon with Brothers Kelly Byrd and Jason Howard officiating.  Interment will be at the Indian Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Justin Jones, Robert Adams, Ryan Valentine, Rich Henderson, Rodney Shaper and Ducky Neely. Honorary pallbearer will be Blayken Howell.
