Charlie Boulton Obituary

Charlie Jay Boulton was born to Tommie Bolton, Sr. and Callie Mae Boulton on October 31, 1953 in Stateline, Mississippi. He was one of fourteen children.

Charlie graduated from George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi, Class of 1971 and later attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Charlie was an extremely hard-working man and worked for Peavy Industry, Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Pipefitter for several years and for the Mississippi Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer for many years. He confessed his faith and hope in Christ at an early age and was never ashamed of his relationship with God. A caring and compassionate person, Charlie was beloved by many. It was truly a blessing to be graced with the presence of a thoughtful, loving, and dedicated individual that mastered the roles of a diligent father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. The genuine nature of Charlie who had never met a stranger and had a story for every occasion and topic will truly be missed by his family as well as all who knew him best. He loved to fish and to work on things and if you knew him well enough, you would have realized that he was an old hand with tape. His true devotion in life was to his grandchildren and those that he held dear.

Charlie trusted God fervently with his life and on July 10, 2020 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama God came for another one of His tenacious soldiers. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; grandparents; brother, Tommie George Boulton Jr.; Four sisters, Rosemary Bilbo, Ophelia Scott, Willie D. Smith, and Annie Jean Boulton and his godmother, Johnnye Taylor.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and wonderful memories, to be carried on by his surviving family members. His loving wife; Samantha Boulton.
