In the darkness, only my loneliness remains,
And in the darkness, the whispers like ice drifts in my veins,

the sun has set, the stars are the brightest you ever saw,
Were the calm and the quit, meet the gentle grip of cold air,

Carrying a song, like raindrops for memories I can't recall,
Its piercing silence, bring visions of tears that cannot fall,

Leaving me stranded in glimmering sadness till the morning light,

In the darkness only visions of the past are left to haunt me,

In this darkness, I have only my truest friend,

something to fade the darkness out of sight.

Christopher Dewayne Bishop, age 52, passed away April 28, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Blaire; his father, Clairborne Howard Bishop Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 2 sons, Daniel Dewayne Bishop and Dennis Edward Bishop; mother, Jenny Rucker; sisters, Daphne (Rickey) Dixon and Amanda (Eduardo) Diaz; numerous other relatives and friends.
