Doris “Dot” Walley’s love of life and family didn’t come to an end with her death. Her loving heart left a beacon of light to all of her family. On November 22, 2021, Doris passed away at the age of 85, after a challenging battle with dementia. Her loving family surrounded her at her home in Leakesville, Mississippi. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living life to the fullest while having fun. She was known to feed you well and taught many of us how to cook our first meal. If you were fortunate enough to learn her tips and recipes, her food will continue to fill many bellies for years to come.
