Evelyn Marie Howell

Evelyn Howell, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2022. She was a member of New Antioch Full Gospel Church for many years. She enjoyed front-porch sitting and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and dear friend who will be greatly missed.     

She is preceded in death by her husband, Metro Howell, Sr.; daughter, Ida Miller; sons, Randy Howell and Steven Howell; granddaughters, Crystal Howell and Jamie Miller; grandson, Dustin Dearmon; parents, Ross and Hazel Parker; siblings, Duane Parker, RC Parker, Shirley Rogers, Mary Howell and Robert Lewis Parker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Metro (June) Howell, Jr., Kenetha (Eddie) Pitts, Suzanne (Rodney) Lee and Dennis (Jannet) Howell; grandchildren, Joyce Mallette, Metro (Maggie) Howell, III, Trevor Lane (Amy) Howell, Teresa Pitts, Daisha (Jason) Cronier, Brooke (Jon) Greer, Eric (Crystal) Webb, Cody Webb, April (Eddie) Shoemaker, Angel (Jon) Nelson, Elizabeth Howell, Ethan Howell and Lola Howell; great grandchildren, Chrislyn, Madison, Clair, Britton, Ali, Owen, Zeke, Micah, Kasey Lane, Autumn, Blake, Carter, Randi, Parker, Peyton, Easton, Rylie, Nataleigh, Canaan, Meredith, Evelyn, Tennyson and Zoey; great-great grandchildren, Bea and Kaylar; numerous other relatives and friends.              

The Visitation for Evelyn Howell will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Heath Havard officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hilltop Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eric Webb, Cody Webb, Metro Howell, III, Lane Howell, Ethan Howell and Owen Hobby. Honorary pallbearers include Britton Howell and Terry Nyman.
