Fred Green, Jr.

Mr. Fred Green, age 78, passed away on February 7, 2021. He was a supervisor with Hercules Chemicals out of Hattiesburg, MS.  He was very involved in Master Builders through his church as well as a member of the Neely Volunteer Fire Department.  In his free time, he loved to hunt, fish, garden, do woodwork.  He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his; father, Fred H. Green, Sr; mother Mary E. Green; brother, Clarence T. Roberts; sister, Theda M. Byrd; sister, Jacklyn Green; and infant sister Green.

Those left to cherish his memory include; sons, Jason P. Green, Brent Lott, Matthew Thomas; Daughters, Maressa Thomas, Marlena (Wyatt) Smith; brothers, Clint Roberts, Tommy Roberts; 8 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service for Mr. Fred Green will be Wednesday, February 10th, at 3pm at Neely Cemetery with Brother John Burge and Brother Freeman officiating. Visitation will be held at Moments Funeral Home beginning at 1pm to 2:30. Pallbearers include; Rusty Williams, Christopher Pittman, Matt Roberts, Ricky Roberts, Wyatt Smith, Quint Green, and Honorary Pallbearer Mason Williams.
