George "Sam" McCleery Obituary

George Leroy McCleery, “Sam”, age 64, passed away June 3, 2021. He greatly enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Everett McCleery; step-mother, Emma Jean McCleery; brothers, Denny Bastean and Andy McCleery.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 41 years, Melba McCleery; sons Samuel McCleery, Daryl (Kathy) McCleery and David (Jamie) McCleery; grandchildren, Shelby, Destiny, Gina, DJ, Kayley, Cindy, Hunter and Sammy, ; sisters, Peg Kelley, Ruthie Havard, Kathy Phelps, Melonie Havard and sister-in-law Sharon Bastean. He was also loved by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
