Hayward B. Fleming

Mr. Hayward B. Fleming, “Chief”, passed away January 21, 2020. He was a member of the band of Poarch Creek Indians. He attended Lucedale Church of God with his family. He greatly enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.    

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lizzie Kate and Willie Fleming; son, Bobby Darryl Lambert.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Hayward Bruce (Traci) Fleming, Jerry Martin Fleming, Ricky Steven Fleming and Diane (Scott) Oliver; grandchildren, Harrison Fleming, Sarah (Jon) Givens, Jerry (Tiffany) White, Dearl White, Diana White, Keri Beth Oliver, Nathan Oliver and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Fleming; numerous other relatives and friends.          

The Visitation for Mr. Hayward B. Fleming will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Lucedale Church of God. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 7:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Brandon Stanford officiating.
