James Wesley Havard Jr.

James Wesley Havard Jr, age 51, passed away May 7, 2026. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors including riding 4-wheelers and fishing. Most importantly he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and all those that he claimed as grandchildren.   

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Sharon Havard; brother, Brian Havard; nephew, Corey Holland.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Alicia (Cameron) Leavins, Tyler Havard, Hanna (Mikey) Holland, and Sahvanna (Joshua) Taylor; grandchildren, Aiden Leavins, Caleb Leavins, Corey Holland, Callie Holland, Kinslee Taylor, Sawyer Taylor, Kennedi Taylor; siblings, Samantha (Henry) Harvison, Melissa Brewer, and Eric Havard; numerous other grandchildren, other relatives and friends. 

The Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Graveside will follow in the church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Howell, Fred Livingston, Colton Day, Johnny Runnels, Austin Couch, and Michael Holliman. Honorary bearers are his grandsons.
