Janice Ruth Kennedy

Janice Kennedy, age 67, passed away September 19, 2020. She was a member of Movella Missionary Baptist church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed fishing and vacationing with her family. She was a devout Christian, devoted wife, loving mother and Mawmaw who will be deeply missed.         

She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Geneva Pierce.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 50 years, Larry W. Kennedy, Sr.; sons, Larry W. Kennedy, Jr. and Michael (Marcie) Kennedy; grandchildren, Tiffiany, Eli and Ella Kennedy;  great grandchildren, Zakk Estep, Troy Kennedy, Gary Johnson and James Johnson;  brother, Donnie (Betty Joyce) Pierce; step-granddaughter, Magen Dixon; step-great-grandchildren, Landon, Ava, and Ansliegh Lanier; numerous other relatives and friends.                   

The Visitation for Mrs. Janice Kennedy will be Monday, September 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Movella Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Joey Reus officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Ronnie Tompkins, Shannon Tompkins, Bill Cochran, Casey Cochran, Derrick Cochran, and John Tuneburg.
