Jewel Dean Cooley

Jewel Cooley, 92, passed away on January 5, 2021.  She was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church and was a seamstress with Basila Manufacturing Co. and then worked with Neely Manufacturing.    

She is preceded in death by her husband Layton Cooley; her mother, Lucille Pridgen; son, Guy Alfred Cooley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Garvin Hamp (Weme) Cooley, Lucy (Robert) Gentry, U. Orville (Debra) Cooley, Martha (Ronald) Cittadino; grandchildren, Nicole Cooley, Marla Gentry, Leah Smith, Kassie Gentry, Robert Layton Gentry, Thomas Orville Cooley, Allison Cooley West, David Cooley, Laura Perry, Patience Layette Pounds, Ronnie Cittadino III, Ricky Cittadino, and Giovanni Cittadino; great grandchildren, Kegan Slogan, Tommy Smith, McKenzie Smith, Mariah Gentry, Matthew Layton Gentry, Allie Cooley, Annabelle Cooley, Isabelle Cooley, Alyssa Cooley, Everly Cooley, Kaleigh Perry and Kaden Perry and numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Jewel Cooley will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 300 PM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville.  The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Walter Mixon officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery.
