Obituary

Jimmy Breland, age 79, passed away January 14, 2023. He worked for Ingall’s for over 30 years, was in the National Guard for 8 years and also worked as a security guard at SMCI. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Wilson Breland and Vivian “Teenie” Breland. His brother Freddie Wayne Breland, sister Linda Gail Chatom and brother in law Joe Flowers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Bonnie Joe (Virginia) Breland of Sarepta, LA,  Dizzie (Barbara) Breland of Leakesville, MS; sisters, Alyne Flowers of Ellisville, MS, Vivian(Lloyd) Speed of Seminary, MS, and Emma Ruth (Howard) Carter of Jacksonville, FL; sister in law, Brenda Breland of Leakesville, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Tommy Flowers, Hunter Breland, Damon Carter, Rocky Purvis, Michael Breland, and Rocky Pierce. Honorary pallbearers, Wayne Breland and Brian Gray.
