Kent Dearman, age 52, passed away February 5, 2021. He was a life-long construction worker. He greatly enjoyed to hunt and fish and loved his pets. He was a NASCAR fanatic and especially an Earnhart fan. He was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Marilyn Dearman; infant brother, Orville Dearman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Penny Dearman; children, Veronica (Neely) Hatcher, Summer (Will) Harrell and Dillon Cooley; step-children, Sydney Walker, Logan (Crystal) O’Neal and Colby (Hannah) O’Neal; grandchildren, Bridgette, Camden, Charleighann, Corbin, Corvin, Jakob, Kris, Sawyer, Mallory, Sydney, Dalton, London, Leni, Jessa, Jameson and Bree; siblings, Nina (David) Johnson, Gail (Kelly) Williams and Keith (Pam) Dearman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Kent Dearman will be Monday, February 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Paul Walters and Bro. Bruce Walley officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers include Tory Lee Hubbard, Gary Smith, and nieces Keleah Hayford, Nikki Dungan, Tabitha Elmore and Shea Deas. Honorary pallbearer will be Rachel Lewis.
