Marion Merley Hearndon, Sr

Marion Merley Hearndon, Sr., age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023 surrounded by his family.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Ratcliff and Myrtle R. Waltman Hearndon; twin sister and 9 other siblings.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Maxie (Debbie) Hearndon, Mike (Alice) Hearndon, Karla (Bill) Feller, Keitha Daugherty, Rodney (Darlene) Hearndon and Kami (Dave) Myers; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Carl David Hearndon and Ina Mason; numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation for Marion Merley Hearndon, Sr. will be Friday, June 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Wendy Henley officiating. A private burial will be in Johnson Cemetery in Wade. Pallbearers include his grandsons.
