Marion Curry McDonald of Lucedale, Mississippi left this earthly life for her eternal one on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1957. She attended East Central School. She moved to Orange Grove, Mississippi in 1973 where she met the love of her life, Gary McDonald. They were married on March 16, 1974, and faithfully served together in her husband’s ministry. She also found great joy in being a Teaching Assistant in the Pascagoula School District for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ethel Curry; sisters, Joann Daughtry and Agnes Carter; brother, Bobby Curry; in-laws, John and Mary McDonald; sister-in-law, Ann McDonald Wilson.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Gary McDonald; son, Kevin (Sarah) McDonald; grandchildren Aaron McDonald, Emilea McDonald, Aeva, Bronwyn, and Celeste Mason-McDonald; brother, James “Buddy” Curry; sister, Reby (Winfred) Tanner; brother-in-law, Johnny (Dammie) McDonald; sister-in-law, Peggy (Philip) Denney; special friends, Bro. Gary and Sis. Darla Cronier; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends who loved her.
The Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Bro. Gary Cronier and Bro. William “Billy” Seals. Burial will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kevin McDonald, Aaron McDonald, Jeremy Denney, Winfred Tanner, Casey Davis and Jason Cronier.
