Mary Helen Junkin Daniel

Mary Helen Junkin Daniel, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026.           

She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian B Daniel; parents, Lula and Amon Junkin; siblings, Odescle Junkin, Thomas Junkin, Ruth Holliman, Ralph Junkin Sr, and Thelma Sulivan.    

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Lisa Daniel (James) Whatley, Leslie Daniel Sr, and Lori Daniel (Greg) Hartley; grandchildren, Jay Whatley, Becky Whatley (Greg) Gintoft, Lee Daniel (Joseph Turnbaugh), Elliott (Sara) Daniel, Juliana (Dan) Allison, Lauren Daniel, and Gregory Hartley; great grandchildren, Jackson Mercer, Charley Gintoft, Brooks Allison, and Hiram Daniel; brother, Clatus Junkin Sr; sisters-in-law, Judy Junkin and Jan Junkin; numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Rocky Creek Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Lott Cemetery.
