Minnie Louise "Lucy" Wilson

Minnie Louise “Lucy” Wilson, age 65, passed away May 8, 2026. She was a beautiful person who enjoyed caring for others.           

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Andy Fortner and Earnestine Daniels Morris; siblings, Wayne Fortner, Earnie Fortner, and Nancy Hamilton.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Felicia Wilson and Christine Wilson; grandson, Charles Jessie, III; siblings, Ray Fortner, Billy Joe Fortner, and Mary Hennessee; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ray Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in Mixon-Mizelle Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kenneth Fortner, Colton Webb, Camel Baria, “CJ” Charles Jessie, Payton Coxwell, Teri Lambert, and Billy Joe Fortner.
