Pamela Spencer

Pam Spencer, loving wife of Gene Spencer, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.          

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Spencer in October of 2020.

Pam was the oldest daughter of Jerry and Nancy Harper. She was born in Japan and raised in the military. She lived many places and was always at home in the outdoors. She worked as a wildland firefighter, with the Nature Conservancy and the National Forrest Service. She loved animals. Pam had a generous heart and was always helping others. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was always willing to be his hands and feet to others in need. Those who knew Pam, know she suffered much, and her sister Kathy is grateful to the many who helped, especially everyone at Eva’s Place.

For those who wish to make donations in Pam’s memory, they can be made to the Mississippi Nature Conservancy, any animal shelter or food bank, or to Eva’s Place.   

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
