Ricky Earl Gibson

Ricky Earl Gibson passed away July 26, 2021 at the age of 60. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially fishing. His greatest joys were helping others and spending as much time as possible with his family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Edsel Gibson and Lydia Ann McDowell Gibson; brother, Louis Anthony Gibson; nephew, Justin Gibson and a host of aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Virginia Lynn Meador Gibson; daughters, Christina (Chad) Denmark, Mary Ann Gibson, Katy (Chris) Lambert, and Haley Gibson; siblings, Lloyd Gibson, Judy Simpson and Gary Anthony; six grandchildren and numerous other relatives and close friends.  

The Visitation for Ricky Earl Gibson will be Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove cemetery. Pallbearers include Chad Denmark, Adam Brown, Lloyd Baker, Logan Lee, Michael King and Dennis Woodard.
