Shelby McCurley Obituary

Shelby Jean McCurley, age 79, passed away October 11, 2020. She loved to sing, color and spend time with her family. Her greatest joy was to praise God. She was a sweet soul who will be deeply missed.      

She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Ollie McCurley; daughters, Shelia Diane Rouleau and Kathy Jean Chelette-Ragland; parents, Willie Boone and Fannie Hazel Broome Miller; brother, James “Jim” Miller and sister, Glenda Cassin.       

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Zelda Linn McDougall; siblings, Hazel Mondell Wallace, Mary Louise Rowell, Willie Mae Cubbage and Billy “Red” Wayne (Mary) Miller; numerous grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.               

The Visitation for Jean McCurley will be Wednesday, October, 14, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Dillon and Rev. Greg Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church cemetery. Pallbearers include Billy Wayne Miller, Danny Cubbage, Colin Thompson, Tracy Knight, Keith Miller and Keith Miller, Jr.
