William Anderson

William Leo Anderson, age 88, passed away March 27, 2024. He was very benevolent and known for his community garden. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, bird-watching and fishing were among his hobbies. He attended Cannan Land United Pentecostal Church, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and friend who will be missed.    

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Cora Miranda Anderson and Valerie Davidson; parents, Archie Anderson and Vivian Anderson; sisters, Opal McLeod, Alleyne Rehkugler and Lela Copeland; nephew, Paul Anderson.           

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Carol Hillman Anderson; children, Linda (Dan) Poston, Randolph Anderson, Clifford (Suzie) Anderson, and William Leo (Darla) Anderson, Jr.; siblings, Cleora Bradley and Shelton Anderson; numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.        

The Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Cannan Land United Pentecostal Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. David Clark officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Family Cemetery.
