William Buckhalter Obituary

William Shane Buckhalter, age 50, went home to be with the Lord November 6, 2022. He was a graduate of Pearl High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked as a welder by trade and was employed at Ingalls for over 19 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He attended First Jesus Name Church of Benndale with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend to many.      

He is preceded in death by mother, Beverly Joyce Weeks.

Shane will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially his loving wife, Carrie Mitchell Buckhalter; children, Kayleen Mitchell, Briana Buckhalter, Jacob Buckhalter and Michal Foraker; grandchildren, Courtney McGee and Courtlan McGee; siblings, Cher Amodeo, Shellie (Nathan) Buford and Jeremy (Alix) Buckhalter; father, William Stanley (Diane) Buckhalter; countless nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.        

The Visitation for William Shane Buckhalter will be Friday, November 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at First Jesus Name Church of Benndale. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
